Teaching Korean to your kids
If you speak Korean fluently, then you can use it around the house and your children will get exposed to it. However, if you don’t speak Korean or if only one parent speaks Korean, then it can be a bit more challenging to teach Korean to your kids. So, how do you teach Korean to your kids?
There are several methods:
1. Enroll them in a Korean class. These are often held on Saturdays at Korean churches.
2. Use Korean phrases at home. It can be fun!
3. Hire a babysitter or nanny who speaks Korean. Have this person speak to your kids only in Korean.
I’m Joseph Kim and I hope that I can teach you some Korean.
